I am somewhat computer literate, so I tried extracting the needed files from the. zip file to download and use to upgrade my version 4.0.g to 5.0, but I didn't see any explicit instructions on what to do with the file once I downloaded it. (Do not update beyond v5.5l, as the the “User-built models” were designed to run on that version.)įor the instructions, scroll down to, “How to install and update Phoenix Sim” section, then follow the link in that section. Start with the, “ Phoenix any version to 5.0.r update”, then update to v5.5l, following the instructions. The links to the update files are under, “ PhoenixSim Updates”. Then you should be able to update to v5.5l. “Phoenix any version to 5.0.r update” is the first one you want to use to update v4 to v5.0.r. That link will take you to the download Dropbox site. “ Phoenix 5.X install files plus updates to 5.5.l courtesy of Naga.” Then click the first link in that thread. Can you reply with a link that will lead me to instructions on how to upgrade from an already installed Phoenix Version 4.0? Thank you for your help. Also, I don't want to start a new installation of version 5. I don't see any links that specify upgrading from Version 4.0 only version 5.
